Unfortunately the Blackcaps went down to South Africa this morning. A couple of bad overs with both the bat and ball cost us.
I'm still feeling pretty confident we will get through to the next stage. Pakistan have been pretty average during this tournament although have a habit of knocking us out of tournaments. We should beat England and if we don't then we don't deserve to be in the Semis anyway.
It was good to finally see a half decent pitch today - the low and slow pitches encountered so far have suited our bowlers but don't make for much of a spectacle.

Watching sports from the comfort of a couch is clearly not a task for the faint hearted.
That said, I am up for the challenge and will be leaning on my previous experience where I have rubbed shoulders with sporting elite (Brendon McCullum bought me a Heineken once) .
